The UEFA EURO 2020 football championship eventually took place in the summer of 2021; hosted by 12 European cities creating a festival of football across the continent. 51 matches held and screened between 12 June and 12 July 2020, with all roads leading to London as host city for the final. London celebrated the tournament through football fan zones including large screens, stages, activations, food and drink outlets where families, neighbours and fans can come together to watch the tournament.

LS Events were appointed by Jack Morton Worldwide, on behalf of the GLA, to curate, manage and deliver the bar and food operations for the official Fan Zones located in London’s iconic Trafalgar Square and Potter’s Field, adjacent to Tower Bridge. Using LS Events’ dedicated food and beverage service, LS Bites, we were able to manage the end to end requirements to to ensure an effective, efficient and diverse offering of specifically curated food and drink offerings showcasing a multitude of cuisines and some of London’s most popular artisan food traders. Despite the COVID-19 restrictions at the time, LS Events were able to service both Fan Zones for the duration of the tournament at a time when no live events had taken place for over a year.
